Affiliate links

Some links may earn Engage And Manage a commission when a reader takes a qualifying action. Where an article contains those links, the disclosure appears before the first recommendation.

“We may earn a commission when you use links on this page. See how we review tools and how we’re funded.”

The offer you see and any price you pay are governed by the provider’s current terms. Check the destination before committing.

Paid listicle and featured placements

A paid position is labeled Sponsored where it appears. The placement identifies the featured company and states that the company paid for the position.

A sponsorship label describes a commercial relationship. It is not a quality award or an editorial score. Paid placements stay visibly separate from the reasoning behind our recommendations.

Other partnerships

Newsletter, podcast and event sponsorships identify the sponsor near the relevant message or segment. A co-sponsored resource names the partner before a reader requests it.

If a form will pass details to a provider, it should name the recipient and explain the purpose before submission. A resource request and a newsletter subscription are separate choices.

What payment does not buy

Payment does not change an editorial score. Our review methodology defines the evidence and criteria needed for a scored evaluation.

Articles distinguish product documentation from direct testing and avoid presenting a commercial relationship as proof of expertise.
